Oct 1–3 · Station 02
Yosemite
Via the Big Sur Ocean Drive to Yosemite. Half Dome, waterfalls and plenty of hiking — the first big national park of the trip and an immediate highlight.
Oct 4 · Station 03
Sequoia
An early start to see the largest trees in the world. General Sherman and the giant sequoias — you feel tiny among these giants.
Oct 5–8 · Station 04
Los Angeles
Via Oxnard and Neptune's Net (the restaurant from Fast & Furious) to LA. Universal Studios with the Harry Potter tour, the Hollywood Sign, the Walk of Fame, Griffith Observatory and the Paul Walker Memorial.
Oct 9–11 · Station 05
Las Vegas
Via Joshua Tree and the Mojave Desert toward Vegas. Area 51, the Hoover Dam and the glittering city itself. A shooting range was a must, of course.
Oct 12 · Station 06
Grand Canyon & more
The Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon in one day — probably the most spectacular leg of the entire trip.

Albuquerque
Via Monument Valley to Albuquerque. A self-guided Breaking Bad film location tour and exploring the city before heading home on October 15.
